When I worked with Purpleberry in the beautiful De Waterkant, Cape Town, I was a design and illustration generalist, with a focus on motion graphics, and in-house communication.

Following strict brand guides, with very specific rules I tried to push the envelope of what could be done, on a creative and conceptual level while still meeting tight deadlines, and navigating feedback and changes.

Every day was different, with a constant flow of various jobs streaming in and out of my workstation. Sometimes working late into the night finalising edits for an animated short, or brainstorming design directions for Nebank Namibia’s National cycle team, there was always a strong collaboration between colleagues, creative directors and clients.
